The Memorial Day Weekend Chili Challenge to benefit local veterans brings cooks from across Texas to Tomball for a day of pepper-to-pepper action for the title of “Best Chili in Tomball” and a chance to compete at the International Chili Competition in Terlingua, Texas in November.

A CASI (Chili Appreciation Society International) sanctioned event, the Chili Challenge pits seasoned chili cooks and local entrants in heated competition to the sound of live country music from the Depot stage in Downtown Tomball.
