Oaks on the Water in Montgomery Cheryl Briggs knows the importance of helping victims of sex trafficking and domestic abuse reclaim their lives and prepare for the future – because it’s a challenge she faced.Mission at Serenity Ranch, an agency providing services to victims of sex trafficking created by Briggs in 2010, will host its inaugural black-tie fundraising gala, “Bound No More”, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 21 at the Sanctuary at Water Oaks, located at 28600 Oaks on the Water in Montgomery.
The black tie affair begins with a silent auction featuring a silent auction for unique, custom made jewelry on display from Houston area artists and artisans. The live auction will feature, among other sponsors, Uli Kuess, a Woodlands artist whose signature artwork incorporates gemstones and crystals into many of her unique paintings.
