Check out some holiday competition! More than 30 teams will create gingerbread buildings and structures with in a few hours to be judged by an independent panel of food, design, art, and architecture experts in downtown Houston’s Market Square Park.

In addition to the coveted Grand Prix de Show, awards will be given in categories including1st and 2nd Runner Up, Best Architectural Icon , Tallest Standing Structure, Best Traditionally Themed, Best Non-Traditionally Themed, Most Creative Interpretation of Materials, and Public Favorite.

You are invited to attend this free event to cheer on the teams, play in the kids’ construction zone, and see Santa!

Following the Build-Off winners and select competitors will be featured in a one week exhibition, free and open to the public, at Architecture Center Houston.
