Relive the days of the early 1800s at the Texian Heritage Festival on Saturday, October 19, at Fernland Historical Park in Montgomery.  Texian Heritage Festival is a family event,to inform the  Texas history through education, reenactments, and community engagement. There will be children’s activities, reenactments of battles and lifestyles typical of the 1800s, shoot-outs, cannons, chuck wagons, a chili cook off, and demonstrations of weaving, candle-making, and Dutch-oven cooking.
